WORDPRESS / AI AGENT
A WordPress AI agent that edits your live site for you
Connect CodeScout to your WordPress site with the WP CodeScout Connector plugin, then ask in plain English or Arabic. The agent edits themes, plugins, pages, posts, WooCommerce products and the database, only within the permissions you allow.
What the WordPress AI agent can do
- Fix layout and theme issues by editing template files and CSS.
- Create and update pages, posts and menus from a short description.
- Add or edit WooCommerce products, prices, stock and categories in bulk.
- Write custom snippets and small plugins, and check the site still works.
- Run database queries to clean up data, with the access level you choose.
- Improve on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings and internal links.
- Take a snapshot of files and tables before a risky change, and restore it if needed.
- Read the debug log and server health to find why a page breaks, without you pasting logs.
You stay in control
The connector uses a site URL, a connection ID and an API token that you create in your WordPress dashboard. You decide which areas the agent may touch: files, content, plugins, themes or the database. You can test the connection before any change, review every edit in the app, and revoke the token at any time.
Works for agencies and store owners
Agencies can connect several client sites and switch between them per project. Store owners can update a WooCommerce catalogue in minutes instead of clicking through hundreds of product screens.
Connect WordPress in three steps
- 01
Install the connector
Install the WP CodeScout Connector plugin on your WordPress site and create a connection with the permissions you want.
- 02
Link it in CodeScout
In the CodeScout app, open the project's connections, paste the site URL, connection ID and token, and test the connection.
- 03
Ask the agent
Describe the change, for example "add a sale banner to the home page" or "set all winter products to 20% off", and review what it did.
QUESTIONS / ANSWERS
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to give an AI agent access to WordPress?
Access is limited to what you enable in the connector, every request uses your own revocable token, and you can test and review changes. Start with content permissions only and add file or database access when you need them.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes. The agent can read and edit WooCommerce products, prices, stock and categories through the connector, within the permissions you grant.
Do I need to know PHP?
No. Describe the change in plain language and the agent writes and applies the code. If you do know PHP, you can review or adjust everything it writes.
Which hosting does it support?
Any WordPress site the connector plugin can run on and that the agent can reach over HTTPS, including shared hosting and managed WordPress hosts.
